The Rotary/Don E. Gross Memorial Endowed Scholarship
The Rotary/Don Gross Memorial Scholarship was endowed in 2015 by Don's family and Madison Rotary Members as a way to remember and honor Don Gross. As a Rotarian for 44 years and a long-time Madison resident, Don believed hard work was its own reward and a way to contribute to the forward progression of society. He and Patricia are the parents of three MHS grads and five grandchildren who are attending Madison Central schools.
The annual Don Gross Memorial Golf Tournament is organized each July by Madison Rotary at the Madison Golf and Country Club, which continues to provide funds to the endowment.
The scholarship will be awarded to a MHS senior who has demonstrated a solid work ethic, has financial need and has achieved academic success. Preference will be given to currently employed applicants and/or those with current or past community service experiences.
