The Julian Freitag Endowed Scholarship
Julian Freitag graduated from Madison High School in 2009. He was involved in many activities and enjoyed many friendships. This scholarship was established by friends and family of Julian Freitag, who passed away in 2014 resulting from injuries sustained in a car accident.
This scholarship will be awarded to a MHS senior who will attend Dakota State University, where Julian attended college. Highest consideration will be given to the applicant's participation in school and community activities and the applicant's exemplification of the spirit in which Julian lived--foremost; loving life, family and friends, appreciating his/her hometown, and bringing a smile and a helping hand to those who need it.
